Join Village Camps at its state-of-the-art campus in the amazing city-state of Singapore. Enjoy an amazing ‘Singapore Discovery programme of visits and the chance to learn English or Mandarin!
Just some 137 kilometres from the Equator, the multi-cultural Republic of Singapore is an international, ultra modern city-state and island lying just off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. Since its split from Malaya almost 60 years ago, Singapore’s dramatic rise from a port to one of the world’s leading international economies is a phenomenon. The Village Camps ‘Discover Singapore’ programme will introduce our youngsters into the sights, sounds and stunning facilities of Singapore, illustrating why the city is rated one of the best places in the world to live and visit.
Amongst the highlights is the sci-fi architecture, the converted military barracks from its colonial past, fascinating museums, colourful tropical gardens, the cable-car to Sentosa Island and the iconic Singapore Zoo. Our accommodation base for our ‘Discovery’ option and for the English and Mandarin language courses is the quite outstanding UWCSEA campus with its impressive choice of great on-site facilities.
Singapore is a sovereign city-state on the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula. This is a dynamic trading centre, which although only with a population of just over five million, is the 4th largest financial centre in the world and one of the five busiest ports.
