For more than 60 years, we have organised educational, recreational and health trips for children and youths. Over 100,000 children have come to our camps. You could even say that it has become routine – but every child is unique and special. For us and of course for you.

About ya! Camps
…in the organisation of children and youth leisure activities, as well as a good nose for the newest trends and ideas are the best requirements to offer your children an unforgettable stay.
The ya! Office, ya! Supervisors and the ya! Youth Hotels work together to make sure your children feel at home! young austria is immersed in camps the whole year – from the birth of an idea to the development of a new holiday camp.
Not only is good customer service required, but also organising transfers, compiling equipment for each of the camps, the thorough selection of counselors and leaders, advertising and public relations and much more.
At many of our camps, you will see this sign. This means that camp participants from around the world are taking part. In 2014, 2,000 children and youths from more than 40 countries were at our camps. Friendships that span over continents were created. Language skills are benefited, cultural stereotypesare re-arranged and fear of contact is broken down. An important part of the personal development of young people.Only at young austria camps will you find a supervisor to child ratio of 1 to 8. For our younger guests, it’s even 1 
supervisor for 5 children. That means that we can look after the participants individual needs. Unique at summer camps in Austria. Our supervisors are carefully handpicked. Only those who complete the multi-stage selection process, the personal interview and the extensive training seminar are allowed to work at a young austria camp. There is an experienced leader at every camp, who has already been at several camps and is in close contact with our office in Salzburg.

Always an open ear for questions and of the highest quality. Individual like our participants. The meals are healthy, regional and adapted to the tastes of our young guests. Special requests for vegetarians or allergy sufferers are taken into consideration. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. A highlight is definitely the many, many sports and leisure activitieson-site.

For more than 60 years young austria organizes adventure camps for children and teenagers with its emphasis on education, health and sports. Together with our counselors we care about 2000 children per year. In 2014 we had children from 40 nations from all over the world in our camps.

In an emergency, young austria can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the summer camps. Please only use this telephone number in mergencies so that the lines are not unnecessarily engaged. The number will be provided on the travel documents before departure.
Kids Camp – Simonyhof
The camp is specifically for children between the ages of 6 and 10
Even if it’s your first week of holiday without your parents – our counsellor team is here to welcome you and guarantee an unforgettable week with lots of fun and new friends.
Next to exciting sport and adventure programmes and fun games with the ya! counsellors, you can look forward to the following camp highlights:
• Fun “get to know you” games

• Excursion to the Hohenwerfen fortress, incl. impressive falconry flight displays
• Visit Wagraini’s Grafenberg – climb 1700m with the gondola – adventure activities inc. hanging bridge and swing forest await you

• Excursion to summer tobogganing – fast ride with the “Lucky Flitzer”

Horse Riding Camp “Gipsy”
Saddling, grooming, feeding, cleaning a stable and of course your every day horse riding trip – this Gipsy camp is perfect for all horse lovers.
The horse riding Camp right in the middle of the beautiful Salzburg’s surroundings makes dreams come true for every horse-loving participant. An exciting week dedicated to your favourite animals!
Early in the morning the experience starts: after breakfast you go to the close by equestrian facility. There you will learn everything about horse keeping, livestock friendly training, grooming, and saddling and a lot more about the right equipment for a perfect riding experience.
Adventures all day long
In small groups you will get involved in the daily work in the stables. You will be in charge of different stations such as feeding, horse keeping and horse care. And later on certainly it’s time for a horse-riding trip! During 6 days 2 hours per day horse riding -according to your skills- is included.
Beginner? – Everybody is welcome
No matter if you just start in the riding area or if you are already advanced and going for a ride in the nature – you don’t need any prior knowledge, because we have designed this programme for everybody – especially for beginners!
Multi Activity Camp
This summer camp is especially for the creative, adventurous and sporty ones! With a programme that fits everyone.
The Multi Activity Camp is perfect for everyone who wants to have a lot of fun and action during their holidays!
Fun, excitement and lots of action
The Action Camp in the exciting holiday region of Lengau will surprise you during your stay with a huge amount of indoor and outdoor activities on offer – and in the sunniest place in Austria! The youth hotel Carinth offers lots of space for fun and relaxation. You find a large area that is perfect for sports and action. On hot days you can use the water slide in the garden and additional swimming fun is guaranteed at the natural bathing beach Longa, the refreshing small river is nearby.
A unique adventure awaits you:
- Climbing on the in-house climbing wall
- Swimming at the natural bathing beach on the Longa
- Bike tour to a hut or in the beautiful Weißprach valley
- Beach volleyball tournament
- Newly-created street hockey and basketball court
- Trampoline or balancing act on the slackline
- Relaxing in the chill out area
- Candle-lit trekking tour
- The Outdoor Park in Lungau with its 400m-long rope slide, flying fox, climbing tower and much more

English Action Camp – 1 week
For one week native speakers encourage the participants in this kids camp to speak English in all situations – the whole day! Ideal for beginners.
Our camp for Englishspeakers – people who enjoy a great international atmosphere and have fun with English Action!
Since 1973 the English Action Camp has fascinated students from all over the world. The combination of English tuition with great sports and creative leisure activities turn this camp into an unforgettable experience. With educom we have an eminent partner for qualified tuition and for the selection and training of our counsellors.
Attention: Depending on the participants’ age, gender and knowledge, the English Action Camp either takes place in the ya! adventure guesthouse Carinth, Salzburgerhof, Simonyhof or Tauernhof!
Living the language day and night – English is the language you are talking during the camp! The ya! adventure guesthouses Carinth, Salzburgerhof, Tauernhof or Simonyhof are a meeting point for young participants from all over the world! Also our teachers and counsellors come from several countries: England, Ireland or USA. Together the following language classes, with 20 lessons à 45 minutes a week are organized:
- In the Grammar Groups you will practice the most important rules of English grammar which will be made secure with many activities. You’ll see that learning grammar doesn’t have to be dry and boring!
- Creativity is called for in the Project Groups! Perform in a radio show, report the camp news and create cartoons!
- The English Workshops will provide you with the most common English vocabulary you can use for example on a trip to London.
- Discussion Groups allow you to discuss current topics. You won’t be able to keep your mouth closed!
On the first day there will be an entry level test. According to the results the participants will be split in different ability groups.
