Our programmes
You have a variety of study opportunities to choose from, including undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and specific international programmes.
Undergraduate and postgraduate degrees
Courses particularly popular with our international students include; Business, Education, Music, Film, Radio and Television, Digital Media and English Language.
When choosing your course, please remember that students from outside the EU (on a Tier 4 student visa) can only study on programmes classified as full-time.

International programmes
We offer a number of courses specifically designed for international students:
- Pre-sessional course in academic English skills – Improve your spoken and written English to the standard required for undergraduate or postgraduate study
- English language courses – fully accredited programmes available all year round
- International Foundation Year (EU) – Pre-degree preparation year combining academic study and English language development. Added to your three-year programme, this forms a four-year undergraduate degree
- Summer school – the chance for American and Canadian students to experience a summer abroad here at CCCU
- Study abroad in Canterbury – opportunities for American and Canadian students to study here at CCCU
- Erasmus+ – opportunities for international students to come to CCCU and for CCCU students to experience an exchange period studying abroad.
