Why Brunel University London?

You’ll learn to apply your mind to real‑world problems, helping you to prepare for the future and get ready for work. Our one London campus provides everything you could need as you become part of our vibrant international community.

Applied minds

At Brunel, you’ll learn to apply your mind to real‑world problems in real-life situations. Our teaching is informed by internationally renowned research, delivered by experts and supported by some of the best equipment and facilities around, as close as possible to the world of work.

Get ready for work

Our Professional Development Centre helps you to prepare for the future.

Brunel has a long tradition of producing graduates who are ready for work. For many years, all of our programmes included a compulsory placement year in industry, but now we complement the option to gain work experience – in the UK or overseas – with a comprehensive array of support and programmes to prepare you for your future.

One London campus

Take a look around campus on our virtual tour.

Our London campus community provides everything you could need. We provide world-class sports facilities, a diverse arts centre, Students’ Union, prayer facilities and on-campus accommodation for first year undergraduates who confirm their acceptance by 1 September. All this on a self-contained single campus within easy reach of central London.

Vibrant international community

Brunel is one of the world’s top 50 international universities (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016), a reflection of the diversity of our staff and student body and the work they do. Over 110 countries – from Argentina to Zimbabwe – are represented on campus, creating a vibrant atmosphere as the different cultures come together. This gives you the opportunity to live and work alongside people from all over the world.

As a full-time undergraduate student, you will have two main types of expenses at university – tuition fees and your living costs. The Government’s funding system of grants and loans means that you can choose not to pay anything until after you have finished your degree.
