Welcome to Myddelton College

We are doing things very differently here. Through our use of 21st Century technology and skills in every lesson, to our ground-breaking Learning Through The Outdoors programme, we aim to provide a unique blend of 21st Century Learning and the best of British education in the heart of the Welsh countryside.

While we place high value and great emphasis on academic success, we also take a holistic view toward education and we value the arts, the outdoors and sporting ability just as highly.

This is what makes Myddelton College ‘more than just an education’.

Why Choose Myddelton

Established on the site of a former well known school, Myddelton College is a fresh new co-educational school for the county town of Denbigh. Created with a vision of academic excellence with British education values instilled, Myddelton College is the ideal place for your child to enjoy their education. The college, taking its name from the local Myddelton family who lived in the town, provides an all-round education for boys and girls aged 9-18 for pupils from all backgrounds and is proud of the diverse student body we have.

There is a fantastic family atmosphere at Myddelton College, our class sizes are small and the teacher to pupil ratio is generous, enabling our dedicated teachers to deliver tailored learning for pupils of all academic abilities and permitting every individual to find the opportunity to excel, this also means that we really get to know our students as individuals; what they excel at and if they need extra support.
