  • Canterbury Cathedral is absolutely stunning and dates back to the 7th Century and was completely rebuilt by the Normans in the 11th Century and is the present day centre of the worldwide Anglican Communion
  • St. Augustine’s Abbey – founded the Abbey in 597 CE just outside the walls of Canterbury marking the rebirth of Christianity in southern England
  • The Royal Museum is housed in a superb Victorian building. It contains decorative arts and jewellery, porcelain, pictures and many treasures from the Victorian Cabinet of Curiosities
  • The Fascinating Dover Castle is a medieval castle founded in the 12th century and has been described as the “Key to England” due to its defensive significance throughout history
