Homestay

If you are looking for a home away from home and want to experience the Australian culture, arrange to stay with one of our welcoming Homestay families. Choosing Homestay is also a good way to keep practising your English after school! All our Homestay families are carefully selected upon criteria such as cleanliness and tidiness of the house, easy access by public transport and their interest in learning about our students’ home countries and cultures.

Student Residence

If you feel more independent and would prefer sharing accommodation with other international students, you can reserve a room in one of our Student Houses. Student House Australia offers bright and clean accommodation within short walking distance to Langports.

All our Student Houses are professionally managed and offer single or twin rooms. You will share your bathroom, the dining room and the lounge area with other students, and have access to the spacious kitchen to prepare meals.

On the Gold Coast, Student House prices are ranging from $230 per week to $285 per week, depending on your preferred option.

Please note that students are unable to self-select a student house. Availability is dependent on students booking with advance notice (about 6 months). So please contact the Langports Gold Coast Enrolments Officer before making a booking to confirm availability. If this option is unavailable, alternative options, including homestay, can be provided.

How to get there

By tram: the closest tram stops are Surfers Paradise and Cavill Avenue. Both stations are located less than 250 metres from our campus.

By bus: 250 metres from the closest bus stop; a 2 minute walk from the Gold Coast Highway, which is the main road used by many different buses.

By bike: the Gold Coast is a bicycle-friendly city with more than 600 kilometres of bike paths. You can hire a bike at Langports and there is bike parking at the school. Please note that in Australia, you must wear a helmet on your bike at all times.
